One installevery occasion, kit, install, app and nothing to take down
Everyday Warm White
The look most homes run from Monday to Thursday: a soft warm white along the roofline that reads as architectural lighting, on at dusk, off at bedtime.
Christmas
Red, green and warm white in blocks along the eaves, changed in the app in December and gone on January 2 without a ladder.
Halloween
Orange and purple for the last week of October. Switch it on for the trick-or-treaters and back to white the next morning.
Canada Day
Red and white on the roofline for the long weekend, set from the deck with a drink in your hand.
Game Day
Your team colours when the puck drops, on the whole house or just the front. The neighbours will know who you cheer for.
Your Own Mix
Any of 16 million colours on any section of the roofline. Paint it in the app, save it, and bring it back whenever you like.
Looks you can pickevery holiday from the app, your own mix any night
Barely noticed by day, unmistakable at night
The pucks sit tight under the eave in a thin row you stop seeing after the first week. At dusk the schedule turns them on and the whole roofline is lit, evenly, from corner to corner. It is the same install for a bungalow, a two-storey or a storefront.
- 16 million colours, scenes and schedules from the app
- Works with Alexa, Google Assistant and the app on your phone
- Rated for outdoor use year-round, built for Manitoba winters
- Supplied and installed by Jet Set, or we install your kit
Summer heat to winter cold, the same lights stay up
Govee builds these for the outdoors and rates them for year-round use. The run stays on the eave through a July heat wave, a fall storm and a January cold snap, which is why a Winnipeg home can leave them up and simply change the colour with the calendar.
- UV-resistant housing that holds its white in the sun
- IP67 waterproof: rain, snow and ice are what it is made for
- Rated by Govee for -20°C to 60°C
- Plugs into your outdoor outlet; the outlet and wiring stay the homeowner's
Everyday lighting, not just holiday lighting
Set to white, the same run is porch and security lighting for the whole house: up to 40 lumens per light at 4000K, on at dusk by schedule and off when you say. Most homes run white most nights and save the colour for the occasions.
- Up to 40 lumens per light in 4000K white for daily and security use
- Warm white to cool white, picked in the app
- Schedules and sunset timers, so you never touch a switch
- Brightness set in the app, from a soft glow to full

Installed my govee lights and did a great job. They tidied up after themselves you would never have known they were there
Clear and quick communication (reply to email within hours, during weekend), quick turnaround time (services booked, quoted, and rendered within 48 hrs), quality work (not rushed). Reasonable pricing. Friendly/polite staff.
Reasonably priced, fast service, and well done work. I requested a quote yesterday, and windows were washed today for a lot less than I thought they would be. My windows were very noticeably cleaner and shiny.
What it costs in Winnipeg
Every quote is for your property, so the price moves with:
- Linear feet of roofline, and how many peaks, gables and dormers break it up
- One storey or two
- Kit supplied by Jet Set, or a Govee kit you bought
- Where the controller plugs in: distance from the nearest working outdoor outlet
- Extras on request, quoted separately: a second run on a detached garage, fence or deck
Send the address and our team strives to reply with a price within hours, not days. Request a quote or text a photo to (204) 990-7790.

Questions Winnipeg customers ask
What are Govee permanent outdoor lights?
A slim run of small LED pucks fixed under the eave along the roofline, with a plug-in controller you run from the Govee app. You pick any colour or a holiday scene, set schedules, and the lights stay up year-round.
How are they installed?
Jet Set fixes each puck under the eave with the clips and adhesive the kit is designed for, runs the cable around peaks and corners, connects the controller to your outdoor outlet and pairs it to your phone before leaving. Nothing is nailed or screwed into shingles or siding.
Do you supply the Govee kit or do I buy it?
Either. Jet Set can supply a kit sized to your roofline and install it as one quote, or install the Govee kit you already bought. Tell us which when you ask for a price.
When is the best time to install?
We install while temperatures are above zero, so fall is the time to book: the lights are up for Halloween and Christmas and stay up for everything after. Spring works too.
Can they just be warm white most of the time?
Yes. Most homes run warm white as the everyday look and switch to colour for a holiday. White runs from warm to cool in the app.
Can different sections be different colours?
Yes. Any colour on any section of the roofline: red over the garage, white over the entry, green along the main eave, or a pattern you paint in the app.
Which holidays can I set?
Any of them. The app has scenes for Christmas, Halloween, New Year and more, and you can build your own for Canada Day, a birthday or game day and save it.
Can I control them from my phone or by voice?
Yes. The Govee app runs colours, scenes, timers, schedules and music sync over Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, and the kits work with Alexa and Google Assistant.
Can Govee permanent lights handle Winnipeg winters?
They are rated for outdoor use year-round and Jet Set installs them on Winnipeg homes to stay up through the winter. The install itself is an above-zero job, which is why fall and spring are the install seasons.
Do I need an outdoor outlet?
Yes. The controller plugs into a standard outdoor outlet within reach of the roofline. The outlet and the wiring are yours to supply; Jet Set does not do electrical work.
What about the warranty?
The lights carry the Govee manufacturer warranty. Ask us about the current terms when you request a quote. If something needs attention after the install, Jet Set can come back as a service call, quoted at the time.
Will the install damage my soffit or roof?
The pucks fix under the eave with the clips and adhesive the kit is designed for. Nothing is attached to shingles or the roof edge.
Which Winnipeg areas do you install Govee lights in?
All of Winnipeg, including River Heights, Linden Woods, St. Vital, Sage Creek, Charleswood, Whyte Ridge, Fort Garry and Transcona, plus Headingley, Oak Bluff, La Salle, Niverville and Stonewall.
