What we can install

Lit lawn figures
Snowmen, polar bears, reindeer, penguins and nativity sets, assembled, staked into the lawn or snow and connected to your outdoor outlet. Figures over two metres tall are quoted with extra stakes and guy lines for wind.

Giant bows and ribbon
Oversized red bows on the garage door, the front peak, columns and the lamp post, plus ribbon wrapped around porch posts and railings. Mounted with clips and straps, nothing screwed into siding or stone.

Wreaths and garland
Lit or plain wreaths on the front door, garage and arched windows. Garland along railings, around the door frame and up the columns, with lights woven in if you ask for them.

Inflatables
Snowmen, Santas, reindeer and characters, staked, tethered and connected to your outdoor outlet. A timer can be added on request so the fan is not running all night.

Permanent Govee lights
Track lighting along the roofline that stays up year-round. Certain Govee models can be controlled from the Govee app over Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, so the same lights can be Christmas in December, Halloween in October and team colours in June.
Permanent Govee lights
Lit trees and shrubs
Trunk wraps and canopy drapes on front-yard trees so the lawn figures and bows have a lit backdrop. See the Christmas lights page for roofline and tree work.

permanent lights: one install, every occasion
Govee permanent outdoor lights are a slim run of LED pucks fixed under the eave that stays up year-round. From the Govee app you pick any colour, run scenes and set schedules, so the same install is warm white most nights, red and green in December, orange in October and team colours on game night. Jet Set can supply and install the kit, or install the one you bought.
- 16 million colours, scenes, timers and music sync from the Govee app
- Barely noticed by day, fixed under the eave
- No yearly install and takedown
- Supplied and installed by Jet Set, or we install your kit

Installed my govee lights and did a great job. They tidied up after themselves you would never have known they were there
They did a great job on our windows and installation of our Christmas lights! Very easy to deal with. We will definitely use them again.
Thank you so much Jordan, Alex, and Frank for helping me complete this project! I was especially impressed with how prompt and accommodating you made the whole process. Highly recommend!
Installing decorations in Winnipeg weather

Winnipeg winters are hard on outdoor decorations. Wind off the open prairie knocks over anything that is not staked and tethered, and once the ground freezes in mid-November, stakes have to be driven into frozen soil or anchored in packed snow. Inflatables wear out first: a fan motor that runs all night at minus 30 does not last, so a timer that shuts them off overnight is worth adding. Lit figures and Govee lights handle the cold as long as the connections are off the ground and out of the snow. The best install window is mid-October to mid-November, before the ground freezes and the lasting snow arrives.
What it costs in Winnipeg
Every quote is for your property, so the price moves with:
- How many pieces, and how large the biggest one is
- Lawn figures and inflatables: whether the ground is frozen when we come (stakes go in easier before mid-November)
- Bows and wreaths on peaks and second-storey points need ladder time
- Power: how far the nearest working exterior outlet is from the display
- Your decorations or ours: Jet Set can supply bows, wreaths and garland when requested in the quote
- Cords, splitters and timers: supplied on request and quoted separately
- Takedown: separate service, quoted when requested up front
Send the address and our team strives to reply with a price within hours, not days. Request a quote or text a photo to (204) 990-7790.
How it works
- 1
Send a photo and a list
Text a daytime photo of the front of the house and tell us what you have. Say if you want us to supply bows, wreaths, garland, cords or timers, and whether you want takedown in the new year.
- 2
Get a price within hours
Jordan's team replies with a price for what you asked for and the next open dates.
- 3
Install and test
We assemble, stake, mount and connect everything to your outdoor outlet and test it before we leave.
- 4
Takedown, if requested
If takedown was part of your quote, we come back between January and April and pack the decorations.
Questions Winnipeg customers ask
Do you install decorations I bought myself?
Yes. Most of the figures, bows, inflatables and wreaths we install are ones the customer bought. Send a photo of the house and a list of what you have, and we quote the install.
Can you supply bows, wreaths and garland?
Jet Set can supply commercial-grade bows, wreaths and garland sized for the house when you ask for them in the quote request. Lawn figures and inflatables are customer-supplied.
Will the decorations stay put in Winnipeg wind?
Anchoring is most of the job. Figures and inflatables are staked and tethered, bows and wreaths are strapped or clipped, and anything tall is quoted with extra anchors. Winnipeg wind can still move things over a long season, and a return visit to re-anchor or repair is a separate call-out.
What about power and extension cords?
Decorations connect to your exterior outlet, which must be in good working condition and within reach of the display. Jet Set can supply weather-rated cords, splitters and timers on request, quoted separately. We do not repair or test house wiring; if an outlet is not working, an electrician needs to look at it before the install.
Do you take everything down?
Takedown is a separate service and must be requested up front so it can be included in the quote. It runs January to April.
Can you install Govee permanent lights too?
Yes. Govee permanent outdoor lights are installed along the roofline and stay up year-round. Certain models can be controlled from the Govee app over Wi-Fi or Bluetooth.
