What we do on the job
Roofline outline
Straight, evenly spaced runs along the eaves and up each peak, clipped to the shingle edge or gutter lip. No nails, no staples, no holes in the fascia.
Trees, shrubs and the front walk
Spruce and ornamental trees wrapped or draped, shrubs netted, and the walkway or steps lined so the whole approach is lit.
Railings, columns and window frames
Porch and deck railings, front columns and window outlines in the same warm white or colour as the roofline, so it reads as one design.
Timer, test and return visits
We set the timer for dusk, test every string before we leave, and come back if a bulb or string quits during the season.

Stakes for tree wraps and lawn runs need unfrozen ground, which usually means before mid-November. Questions Winnipeg customers ask
Can you hang the lights I already have?
Yes. Jet Set installs LED strings you own. Bring them out before install day so we can test them. Strings that fail the test are replaced with new ones with your go-ahead.
Can the lights wrap around the corners?
Yes. On a front roofline job the crew carries the lights about 2 to 3 feet around each front corner on request, so the display looks like it continues around the house. Full sides and the back are quoted as their own lines.
Do you need me to be home?
No. As long as we can reach an outdoor outlet and the areas being lit, the install can happen while you are out. We text when we are done.
Will the clips damage my shingles or eavestroughs?
No. Clips grip the shingle edge or the gutter lip and come off in the new year without leaving marks. Nothing is nailed or screwed into the house.
How late in the season can I book?
Jet Set installs into December when the roof is clear of snow and ice. Late-season dates are limited, so October and early November bookings get the best choice.
Do you do permanent Christmas lights?
Yes. Jet Set installs Govee permanent outdoor lighting, a run of LED pucks under the eave that stays up all year and changes colour from an app. Ask for it when you request a quote.
